With a tailored frequency response curve, this mic requires little to no corrective EQing. The frequency response goes from 20Hz up to 16,000Hz with a smooth mid frequency scoop between 100Hz and 1,500 Hz. These attributes make it an incredible mic for bass drum, bass guitar, bass guitar amp, tuba, bass trombone, and any other low frequency instruments. Good for live or studio use.
